Cybersecurity Solution Engineer - Presales

Singapore / Malaysia / Indonesia

Partner with the Enterprise account sales teams to build a successful sales and execution strategy across the customer landscape. Your input will help develop new prospective opportunities through security advisory workshops, sharing industry insights, driving customer roundtables, presentations and thought leadership at key events.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert to clients and internal sales teams, providing guidance on cybersecurity products and services.
  • Understand client’s security requirements and provide expert guidance on how to best protect their organization from cyber threats.
  • Work with clients to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to mitigate those risks.
  • Work closely with product management and engineering teams to ensure that the products and services being offered are current and meet the needs of clients.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to clients and internal sales teams to educate them on cybersecurity solutions.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in cybersecurity, and provide insights to clients and internal sales teams.
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to develop sales strategies and tactics that align with clients’ security needs.
  • Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction with the solutions provided.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company’s cybersecurity business.
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of experience in complex IT cybersecurity environments (i.e. SecOps, DevOps, Network or similar operational units in business, information security, risk or compliance role)
  • You have deep expertise in one or more specific areas of risk and security analytics, large scale security operations, cloud security, threat monitoring, Intelligence, hunting, detection and Incident Response and penetration testing.
  • Must have hands-on experience with working, designing and implementing various security controls (i.e. Endpoint protection, detection & response, Web Security solutions, Firewall & IPS
  • You are also familiar with other security controls such as CASB, TIP and SOAR.
  • You are passionate around cyber-security and are well informed about Security Operation & Management of Devices, Networks, Gateways and Cloud by having relevant technical, business or security certifications in IT, cloud or security (i.e. CISM, CISSP, SANS, etc)
  • Equipped with a unique combination of deep cybersecurity knowledge, business acumen and strong interpersonal skills is essential
  • You are innovative in driving better and more efficient business practices and processes to stay ahead of the curve
  • You have experience in public speaking and executive engagement
  • Demonstrated experience working in complex, highly regulated environments like government, financial services, healthcare, telco or defense
  • You have deep understanding of global and regional regulatory mandates & standards such as ISO27K, NIST, COBIT, SABSSA, PCI, etc
  • Experience in a customer-facing, sales-aligned role such as partner management, consultant, solutions engineer or solutions architect
  • Ability to articulate security risk and compliance strategies and plans to CISOs / CTOs / CIOs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
