APAC Training Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with regional and geo strategies to ensure training alignment
  • Build Authorized Training Centre (ATC) delivery model, operationalize and oversee
  • Orchestrate between Sales, Partners, ATC’s and Corporate Training to ensure appropriate content for the region per stakeholder audience
  • Ensure robust train-the-trainer regimen for each course to be delivered in APAC
  • Conduct Training Needs Assessments with key customers and partners
  • Develop detailed training proposals and plans to accelerate the adoption of the company’s Security solutions
  • Maintain a strong relationship with customers, partners and ATC’s to ensure flawless execution of training plans.
  • Build and manage relationships with ATC’s, and ensure their continuous improvement and development.  Responsible for quality standards
  • Evangelize the company’s Security Training & Certification at company and industry events.
  • Maintain a pipeline of training opportunities and provide regular forecasts.  Drive Training bookings with Sales and ATC’s to ensure sustainability and growth.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management.
  • Hire, lead and develop Technical Trainers either as part of the company or as part of the ATC network. This includes day-to-day management, goal setting, performance reviews and coaching – either directly or on a partner management basis with ATC’s

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ year’s management, business development and sales experience, preferably in the Security/IT training industry.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to build a business and drive bookings
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Adept at managing ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience conducting Training Needs Assessments and developing training plans.
  • Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives (CXO level).
  • Strong commercial experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A technical background in security, engineering or computer science.
  • Knowledge of security industry concepts and training needs.
  • Marketing, operations and training delivery experience.
