Systems Application Eng (Electronics)

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Successful applicants will work with the IET team to develop technologies for use in MRO operations.

· Working with interdisciplinary team members and with stakeholders, lead in design and development of digital and electro-mechanical automation systems in line with the company’s Industry 4.0 implementation.

· In charge of automation and IOT Proofs-of-Concept projects involving industrial control, digital sensing and feedback applications.

· Involvement in stages of development including design, testing, installation, troubleshooting, training, documentation, and certification.

· Create product specification documentation, BOM and user instructions/manuals to support scale up of technologies.

REQUIREMENT

· Bachelor Degree or Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics and Electrical Engineering.

· Minimum 3 years of working experience in an engineering role in a development and prototyping environment with microprocessor-based design. Previous use of Raspberry Pi or Arduino for prototyping purposes will be a plus.

· Proficient with C, C++, Python. Knowledge of ROS and Node-RED will be a plus.

· Proficient with the following standards and protocols: TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, FTP, MODBUS TCP, RS485, MQTT, REST API.

· Familiarity with electrical design software packages such as Altium or equivalent.

· Skilled in operation of electrical test equipment including oscilloscope, meters, power supplies

· Familiarity with Design Thinking methodology will be a plus.
