Oracle Data Analytics Consultant

Your role as an Oracle Data Analytics Consultant is to engage with our customers to understand their business, their existing and future technology roadmaps and build solutions that will enable our customers to achieve their business goals in the most effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, creating, documenting, and implementing scalable solution and application changes.
• Interacting with business clients, vendors and technical staff members to achieve desirable business objectives
• Delivering status to the business users and IT Leadership
• Balancing multiple assignments, priorities and aggressive timelines
• Direct work with business users to systematically analyze production issues
• Engagement with the IT counterparts and Data analysis during application troubleshooting and maintenance
• Evaluation of the new technical solutions and business processes to support Hyperion Planning applications and related technologies
• Data analysis and reconciliation during application troubleshooting and as in when required
• Design and develop reports and reporting enhancements as in when required
• Educate and guide users on effective and efficient approaches to utilizing models, tools and data
• Participate in researching new features and educating clients on these abilities to fit into the business model
• Participate in off-hours support activities as needed

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience with Oracle Hyperion products, specifically Hyperion Planning and Essbase
• Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase Server 11.x, Hyperion Planning and other Hyperion applications like Financial Management
• Knowledge of Data integration tool like ODI and FDMEE is required
• Knowledge of Oracle reporting tool like Financial Report, Smartview and OBIEE is required
• Knowledge of Essbase, Planning and administration and performance tuning
• Experience with Integrating Hyperion with OID and MSAD Server desirable
• Knowledge of SQL, PL SQL is required
• Knowledge of VB script and macro is required
• Hands on experience with Installation/Upgrade/Patching with Hyperion Essbase and other Hyperion applications will be preferred
• Troubleshooting skills for critical Database, Application, Networking and System administration issues
• Hands on with Database / application patching and configuration will be preferred
• Strong awareness of the broad Oracle EPM applications suite of products and how they integrate together within the broad Oracle application estate
