Director (Partnership and International Relations)

Job Responsibilities:
1. Partnership
- Identify potential partners, both in Singapore and internationally, that align with company’s goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy to foster collaboration and achieve mutual benefits.
- Negotiate and establish partnership agreements, track and monitor execution of plans.
2. International Relations
- Manage and nurture relationships, including with Overseas Chapter Chairpersons and members, overseas professional bodies and trade associations/chambers, government agencies and partners.
- Build and maintain a network of contacts relevant to the profession and business to identify partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with relevant partners to co-create initiatives to engage members based overseas and grow international presence and membership.
- Align international relations strategies with overall strategic plan.
3. Engagement with Professional Accountants in Business (PAIB)
- Develop engagement plans for members who are in the PAIB segment, including CFOs, young professionals, board of directors and public sector finance.
- Work closely with the relevant committees, network members, and internal departments to align with overall strategic plan.
4. Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure that all international activities and partnerships comply with company’s SOPs, relevant laws, regulations and ethical standards.
5. Budget Management and Reporting
- Develop and manage budgets relating to partnership and international relations activities.
- Monitor expenses and allocate resources efficiently.
- Responsible for relevant reports, develop metrics and KPIs to assess success and impact of partnerships and international initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field or master’s degree
- 10 years of experience in partnership development, international relations, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully establishing and managing partnerships.
- International experience and cross-cultural competence are highly valued Strong leadership and team management skills to lead a team responsible for partnership and international initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, including the ability to negotiate and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills
- High adaptability in view of changing global dynamics and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Culturally-sensitive with an understanding of and respect for diverse cultures.
