Channel Account Manager

 Job Description:

This position is a business management role and will require a high level of experience and expertise in disciplines such as sales, business development and channels management. CAM will be primarily responsible for the management and development of the channel from a policy, process and sales engagement perspective.

This individual will own channel development for the company’s core business, including products and services. Working in close partnership with regional and country sales lead to recruit and enable an effective authorized distributors and reseller channel networks.

Key responsibilities includes but not limited to:

  • Contract management and negotiation with channel partners.
  • Regular business planning and review of monthly/quarterly agreed targets
  • Formulate business plans including setting of targets and regular business review.
  • Work closely with global channels team to develop and execute local programs for key partners in line with the company’s success metrics
  • Act as key point of contact for partners to ensure consistent and successful delivery of sales results
  • Act as a channel leader and evangelist in the development of an effective channels model and marketing programs for all business portfolio.

Job Requirements

  • This position requires a business oriented individual that is able to work independently with minimal supervision in a highly fast paced and competitive environment.
  • The candidate should ideally have work experience in the relevant area, and have demonstrated success in their career managing complex solutions and navigating complex negotiations.  T
  • he candidate should be a strong driver with demonstrated effectiveness in selling, setting success criteria, positioning, prioritizing and partnering to meet both short and long-term goals.
  • Strong communication skills across functional groups are required as the role will require weekly communication with global corporate leadership as well as partners across the region.
  • Sales and channels experience/focus is a MUST, as are excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and driving solid results.
  • Candidate needs to be extremely flexible in a highly stressful but well remunerated environment
